Today's Programme

Everything below describes what is offered today — not what was done. Nothing is tracked. Nothing adapts. The content is the same every day.

How every activity works

The same structure, every time. Predictability is the design.

  1. Offer — the avatar gently begins a gesture or sound.
  2. Demonstrate — the avatar shows the full movement, slowly and clearly.
  3. Pause — the avatar becomes still and waits. Silence is valid.
  4. Acknowledge — if the child responds, the avatar nods gently.
  5. Release — a brief rest, then the next step — or the activity ends naturally.

Ægis is not an educational product. It offers forms worth imitating and then withdraws. There are no rewards, badges, streaks, or progress bars. The best session ends before the child asks for more.

“Before seven, the world teaches by being. Ægis does not explain the world — it presents it gently and lets it work.”

Privacy & Ethics

Camera
Used only as a mirror during specific activities — never full-screen, never recorded. Detects movement presence (not quality). No images stored. No faces recognized. No emotion inference.
Sound
Used only during specific activities to detect whether a sound occurred (clap, voice). No audio is recorded or transcribed. No words are processed. No speech recognition.
Data stored
Nothing. No session recordings. No usage metrics. No progress tracking. No child profile. No data leaves your device.
none
Intelligence
None. Ægis contains no assistant, no analytics, no personalization, and no adaptive intelligence. Nothing observes, interprets, or optimizes the child.

What Ægis does not do
Does not recognize faces. Does not identify voices. Does not transcribe speech. Does not label emotions. Does not track gaze. Does not score behavior. Does not adapt content. Does not learn from the child. Does not share data with anyone.
Design principle
Ægis offers gesture, rhythm, and story — and then steps back. The camera is a mirror held briefly, then put away. Nothing learns from the child. Nothing optimizes the child.

What contributed
What was not used
These estimates are probabilistic and provisional. Ægis does not claim knowledge of your mind. It offers attentional hypotheses, not diagnoses. It may be mistaken.

Some activities use the camera as a brief mirror and the microphone to hear claps or sounds.

Nothing is recorded, stored, or analyzed. The camera reflects — it does not observe.

Your attention has been generous.
